Board Nominations

Dear Amana Academy Community,

The terms of three of our board members (Lemiya Alexander, Pam Holloway, Samer Bashir) is coming to an end and we need your help to nominate and elect three new board members. Every Amana Academy Community member is eligible to nominate three parents to serve a two year term as an Amana Academy Board Member. Please see the attached nomination form, which states all the qualifications and rules for nomination. You can also download a copy of the nominations form or obtain hard copies from the front. Please send your nomination form to nominations@amanaacademy.org. You will receive an email acknowledgement of your nomination within 24 hours of your submission.

Friday, December 18, 2009 is the deadline for Board nominations. There are so many talented and qualified Amana Academy parents who would be a valuable addition to the Board. Please do your duty as a parent and a member of the Amana community by nominating one of these great individuals to serve the school and its students. You can nominate up to three parents. A nomination form is attached with this email. You can also download a copy at www.amanaacademy.org or obtain hard copies from Ms. Ruksana Shibly at the front desk.
