Applying for Enrollment

Thank you for your interest in Amana Academy. Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis. Applying to enroll does not guarantee that your child will be enrolled; your documentation and eligibility must first be reviewed.

Admission

The Amana Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, religion or gender. It is the intention of the school to reflect the community it serves and be open to any student residing in Fulton County. Enrollment preference is given to currently attending students that return the Recommitment Form in a timely manner, siblings of currently enrolled students and children of Amana Academy employees.

Application Process

The Open Enrollment period each year is January 1st - January 31st. Applications are accepted in all grade levels.

Note: If the number of applications exceeds the number of available spaces for any grade level, a random lottery will be held to determine who is admitted.

After January 31st, applications will continue to be accepted and admission will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. If a lottery is required and your application was not submitted within the Open Enrollment window, your application will be positioned on the waitlist in the order in which it is received.

Families will be notified within 14 days of the close of the Open Enrollment period if their student has been accepted or if a lottery will be held. Families who are sent an acceptance letter will be given a specific time frame to respond. If the school does not receive a response during the time frame outlined, the applicant will be removed from the accepted list and placed on the waitlist. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER WE HAVE ON FILE IS CURRENT.

Notification will be given immediately if an opening becomes available from the waitlist. If you would like to see where your child is on the waitlist please click here: Waiver Form . If you are not selected from the waitlist by December, you will need to reapply between January 1st and January 31st for the next school year. We're sorry, but we do not carry over waitlists.

Please do not submit duplicate applications. All duplicate applications will be deleted. In order for us to update address information to a Fulton County address you must come to the school and provide a copy of a current utility bill reflecting your name and address. Phone numbers only may be updated by emailing the school. Thank you for your cooperation.
