Dear Amana Crew,

A huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you who made our GPEE Bus Tour a grand success!

The weather cooperated, and our OUTDOOR Crew warmly received our guests with their chants; the AUDITORIUM Crew's singing really touched hearts, and our guests were very impressed with all the VISITATION STATIONS. Anecdotes about the wonderful interactions with our students in the classrooms abound, and our NJHS docents rose to the challenge and presented our school as true ambassadors, with loads of solid information about our way of teaching and a mature, poised presentation.

Teachers: Your efforts to clean, beautify, and exhibit the wonderful learning going on in your classrooms resulted in an impressive display, both in the classes and on the walls!

Staff: You each played an important part in making every moment move smoothly, in such a variety of ways and with a smile!

Bus Tour Planning Crew: Andrea Cooper-Gatewood did a fantastic job pulling together such a hard-working crew; all aimed for the highest standard of display and professionalism: Kevin, Leslie, JJ, and Mary did the detail work, with Sumayya on facilities issues and Brooke infusing our plans for the kids with her incredible spirit!

Board members: Your reputation for professionalism and dedication is so solid with all our stakeholders, and they called it out many times!

Parents: Many visitors with an education connection (the charter school association, the county representatives, the GPEE staff) commented on how dedicated and enthusiastic our parents are, more so than most schools they work with! Your many hours of volunteering are truly appreciated!

Most importantly, Students: This Tour was all about YOU and the wonderful reputation you have made across the state of Georgia for yourselves as learners filled with motivation, curiosity, and high expectations of yourselves. You are a great example of all of Amana's 5 Mission elements: academic achievement, communication skills, Arabic skills, civic/enviro responsibility, and ethical character. We are all so proud of you! I can't wait to show you the DVD they made about you! (coming in January...)

Every VIP walked out the door with a positive and clearly heart-felt comment about how impressed they were.

It's a huge pleasure working with all of you, so thank you for all you do!
